Generation 1, Chapter 7!

Today was finally the day that Joshua and I earned our Faithful Reputation! I love him so much! "Oh, Kyla." He mumbled, against my lips. I smiled. I knew where this was going.

That night, it was finally Ashton's birthday! He grew up so fast, it seemed like just yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time.

Since he was so tired after he aged up, Joshua and I decided to let him take a quick nap on our bed.

When he woke up, we were happy to see that he took after his father, washing everything that needed it!

I woke up feeling quite nauseous, laughing a bit at the irony. I always seemed to feel sick after I ate cake.

I decided to ignore the queasy sensations and spend some quality time with my wonderful Briella.

The fun was sadly short lived, though, due to my unpredictable stomach.

Once I was sure I would be able to hold my ground for a while, I padded out into the living room. I saw Ashton giving Briella a bottle, and smiled. I was extremely blessed that they were so close.

I walked over to Ashton, and held him in my arms. "Thank you so much, Ashie." I whispered in his ear. "Anything for you, mommy!" He replied, kissing my cheek. The gesture made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I was ready for another baby.

As I was wondering how to bring up the topic to Joshua, I noticed Ashton playing peek-a-boo with Briella. I slowly walked over to them. "Ashie..." I started, getting his attention. "Yes mommy?" He asked, his expectant honey amber eyes capturing mine. "How would you like...having another little brother or sister to play with?" I asked, wondering if he knew what I was asking. "Yes mommy, I would love that!!" He squealed, jumping up and down, excited. "Lucky for you, Mommy's working on it." I smiled, ruffling his hair.

Generation 1, Chapter 6!

I awoke about five hours later, breathing hard and sweating. I felt a wet puddle by my legs and froze. The baby. "Joshua! Josh-" I screamed, pain spreading through my abdomen. "What? Kyla!" he yelled, freaking out. "Get...Get a flashlight." I huffed, using all of my energy. I needed to calm down. As I waited for him to come back, I slid down the side of our bed, my hair getting mixed in the sticky substance. It smelled like blood.

Joshua ran into the house, flashlight on full blast, blinding me. I shielded my eyes, pointing over my shoulder to the bed. "Check...blood...or water..." I gasped. I couldn't  calm down until I knew this baby was okay. I looked up at him as he washed the bed in light. He sighed with relief. At that moment, I could breathe again. But not for long. "Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed, pushing with all of my might. Five hours of sleep the night before you give birth? Not a good plan.

Here is my first daughter ever, Briella Saans. Briella was born on Friday, at 7:30 AM. She was born with the Genius and Brave traits. I knew from that moment, she'd be a fighter. The thought made me smile. I finally get a girl, and not only is she beautiful, she's smart AND strong. She was too good to be true.

I held her closer and could almost feel the love oozing out of my skin. She was a mama's girl. Already. I gently laid my cheek on hers, and thought about my feelings. I was relieved, why though? I already knew it. Ashton had been a daddy's boy, and even though they loved him equally, Ashton and Joshua would always have a special bond. Now Briella and I could have that. I smiled against her cheek, and could almost feel her smiling with me.

I slept all of Friday, and didn't feel like moving Saturday morning. No more remodeling during my pregnancies. I was happy to wake up to see Joshua and Briella bonding. It made me smile to see he loved her as much as he loved Ashton. "Hey Joshua, you know what tomorrow is, right?" I asked, my voice hoarse and groggy. He smiled, "Well well well, look who's up!" I looked at him with loving eyes as he maneuvered so Briella could see me. She smiled and giggled with happiness at the sight of me. "Hi, baby girl." I cooed. Joshua handed her to me, and sat on the bed. "Tomorrow would be our anniversary, the day we earn our faithful reputation," He stated, then finished with, "And today would be our lovely daughter, Briella's first birthday!" I smiled, at the fact that he'd remembered both.

"Oh darling Briella, why are you growing so fast?" I asked her, as I put on her new outfit. She replied with a giggle, as she had just disovered that her toes move. I laughed, but wondered how I had missed these moments with Ashton. I loved them equally. But then again, Josh wasn't in here at the moment to witness it with Briella. I sighed as I lifeted her into a cuddle, hoping I wouldn't miss any more moments with Ashton.

We wasted no time leaping into another learning day, this time with two children. I worked with Briella, while Joshua worked with Ashton. It made my heart leap to see her improve so much in so little time. She was such a smart child, a true genius. I smiled at the thought, and wondered what she could do with her learning abilities in the future. She had so much potential.

We finally worked out a night routine, cuddles before bed, me and Ashton one night, me and Briella the next. I loved to hold Ashton close to me, and have his fast growing hair tickle my nose. He was almost a child. The night before was special. He told me exactly what I had wanted to hear. He wrapped his arms around my neck and played with my hair while whispering, "Mommy, I love you." And he meant it.

Generation 1, Chapter 5!

I woke up in the middle of the night, to a familiar feeling in my stomach. A feeling of dread crept into my thoughts. What could this mean? I decided it was a result of eating so much cake in celebration of Ashton's birthday.

I didn't have much time to think, between the time I got up and ran to the toilet. After I finished, I wiped my mouth and sat by the toilet, thinking. My stomach settled a little bit, but not nearly enough to get up and walk to the bed. I leaned the back of my head on the cold seat, and realized something was off. Not wanting to wake Joshua or Ashton, or disturb my stomach, I slowly rose to my feet and slid on some shoes. Time to go to the pharmacy.

After I had snuck out of the house, I was startled to hear sound coming from our nearly finished bathroom. I slowly crept along the house and peered around the corner. What I saw took my breath away. There, in our bathroom area, was an alien. I covered my mouth to stifle a gasp. I slowly walked to the road, then once I was in the aliens blind spot, I darted to the 24/7 pharmacy. I reached the door, breathing heavy with beads of sweat sliding down my neck. Time to take this test.

When I got home, I peeked in the bathroom, to find the green creature gone. Was this good or bad news? I quietly unlocked the door and slid into my home, silently locking the door behind me. Thankfully, everything was as I left it. I sat on the old toilet, being as quiet as possible, waiting for the results. When it was finally time to check, I gasped. There, on the stick in my hands, was a small, pink, plus.

Joshua heard my gasp, and woke up. "Kyla," he mumbled, a hint of fear in his voice. "Oh, Joshie, I'm alright, just a bit queasy is all." I tried to sound soothing and convincing. It didn't work. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, I saw his eyes drift from my pale face to my hand, holding the test. He slowly got up, silently walking over. I got scared, as his face was blank and expressionless. "Joshie," I whispered as I handed him the test. I studied his face as he studied the test. He took my face in his hands, and kissed me. "This is wonderful!" He exclaimed in a hushed tone.

The next morning, it was beautiful outside, so I decided it would be the perfect day for Ashton to learn some life skills. He wasn't too fond of potty training, but once we got outside, he learned to walk like a champ! Once he looked like he had made a good amount of progress for the day, I held him up and looked into his sweet amber eyes, and smiled. I couldn't be prouder of my little boy. He was perfect.

Part of me felt bad for leaving all of the household chores to Joshua. He was working his butt off to fix and clean everything possible in the house. At least Ashton watched most of it. Maybe he could learn something from the great examples Josh showed. Another part of me was glad. I wouldn't be able to do much anyway, as baby B was due any minute. I was excited by the thought of having another baby around, but a bit scared as well. Baby B wasn't exactly...planned. I still loved it all the same as Ashton, but I was worried about the timing. Could Josh and I handle two bundles?

After we put little Ashton to bed, we clung to each other, both exhausted and anxious. I looked up to see his beautiful emerald green eyes searching mine. His smile lit up his face, as he pulled me into a kiss. I melted into him, letting my thoughts wander. I was so surprised at how much we had grown since we moved here. I remembered that day at the beach, how I was so scared of my mother, and scared of even being with him. I let out a half laugh at the thoughts. Feeling Joshua pull away pulled me back to reality. "Is everything alright?" He asked, worry filling his eyes."Everything is perfect," I smiled. And I meant it.

After that moment, we were no longer tired, so we put our energy into finally finishing the bathroom! We decided on a family friendly sea theme. After about five hours of building, sweating, and a bit of bleeding, it was finally done. I sighed and fell into Joshua. "This is perfect." I whispered, looking up at him. He smiled down at me and kissed my forehead. "Let's get to bed." He responded. I nodded, exhausted after all of the work.

Hey everyone! I really hope you like this legacy! If you have any criticism or thoughts on my legacy, please let me know in the comments! I already have chapter six planned out, so it will most likely be out today as well!

Generation 1: Chapter 4!

Lucky for me, I was right! Say hello to little Ashton Saans! Ashton was born on Monday, at 6:03 A.M. He was born with the  traits! The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew I could never love anyone more. Not even Joshua, who had been there for me through everything. That part confused me. How could so much of my heart go to my sweet Ashton, even though I just met him. Sure he was inside me for nine months, but I'd known Joshua for at least six years!

As soon as he left my arms, Ashton was scooped right up into Joshua's. The sight made me feel fuzzy. We may not have much, but Ashton and Joshua are all I could ever ask for.

As I watched Joshua and Ashton interact, I couldn't help but notice their strong bond. Even from across the room, I could feel the love radiating off of Joshua. Ashton was definitely a daddy's boy. I walked over, and Joshua cuddled Ashton with his left arm, while squeezing my shoulders with his right one. He kissed us both, and I felt like nothing could ever be better than what we had.

Once we tucked Ashton into his little blue crib together, Joshua held me in his arms, and I relaxed into him. We fit perfectly, and at that moment, I was more sure than ever at what we had, our love as well as our growing family, was precious. I looked up into his big green eyes, and he lowered his head until our lips touched, softly. "Kyla Saans, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." He whispered, our lips barely touching.

We both felt a huge rush of energy, pulling us together. Although we were holding each other, we still weren't close enough.

Later that night, neither of us could fall asleep. We lay in bed talking into the early hours of the morning. Every once in a while Ashton would wake up, and one of us would walk over to his crib and snuggle the daylights out of him, until he would fall into a peaceful sleep once again. Many parents complain about their children waking up in the night, but Joshua and I find comfort in it, looking forward to spending more moments with our lovely child.

The next morning was Ashton's first birthday! We had a private party in the house, and he loved it! He even got a little bit of cake! We spent the day playing, eating plenty of cake, and enjoying time together as a family. We were planning on going to the park to celebrate, but a thunderstorm came out of nowhere, forcing us to have as much fun as possible inside our tiny one roomed house!

At one point during the day, I caught Joshua gazing at his wedding ring. The sight made my heart swoon with happiness. He was just as in love with our family as I was! I started having thoughts, maybe we could have another child? But this definitely wasn't the time. Maybe once we expanded the house, and Ashton grew up a little more. I was so excited about the idea, that I could almost feel a baby in my stomach.

Generation 1: Chapter 3!

The next morning, right when Joshua was awake, I ran to him. "Joshua!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement. I jumped into his arms, but as he was letting me down, I got an uneasy feeling. What if he didn't want a baby? "What is it, Kyla?" he chuckled. "I...uh...um, do you want a child...?" I asked, trying to find the right words. He smiled warmly. "Well of course! I'm excited by the thought of a mini me and a mini you running around!" He said, excitedly. "Wh- really?!" I exclaimed. I had tears in my eyes.

"Well...you get your wish..." I said, choosing my words carefully. "What?!" his jaw dropped. "Kyla! This is wonderful!" He kissed my forehead and caressed my cheek. We finally got what we had been hoping and praying for, for the longest time. Baby "A".

During my pregnancy with our first born, I didn't really get to see Joshua much. He spent his week days at work, making as much money as possible, so we could provide the best life possible for "A". When he got home, I was normally already asleep. Growing a sim inside you gets pretty tiring. The only time we really got to see eachother was when we ate, either in the morning before he left for work, or in the evening, right before I went to bed.

One Sunday morning, though, this all changed. It was finally time for me to become Kyra Saans. That's right folks, it's our wedding day! I invited all of our co-workers, as we didn't really know anyone else in the area. I decided as soon as "A" came out of me, I would be making some friends. There wasn't really time to think of these things right now...it was my wedding day!

Once we got to our wedding venue, I started getting some odd pains in my abdomen. I paid no attention to them, as the doctors said it was normal to feel the baby moving around during the final month of pregnancy. Plus, it was finally my big day!

We exchanged words, then rings to eachother. I couldn't have been happier at the moment. I was on cloud nine. We stood there, staring into eachother's eyes, holding hands, smiling. I knew we both felt the extremely strong force to kiss. It was like there were two magnets, one in each of our lips, and they just had to be together!

So, we gave in. It happened so fast, the minister gave him the cue, "You may now kiss the bride." And before any of us knew it, his lips were locked in mine, and at that moment, I believed that we were made for each other. It was a perfect fit. No other man could make me feel like this, and I was positive I could never give any other man all of the love I gave Joshua.

I almost forgot! Here was our small, but extremely lovely audience! Everyone cheered for us, and acted as if we had all been friends for years, though we had just recently met. I loved this small town called Sunset Valley, because it gave me hope.

At exactly 4:00 AM the next morning, I woke up with worse pains than before at the wedding. The sheets were wet and sticky, I was sweating profusely, and it felt as if someone was stabbing me in the abdomen... with fire. Or something. I slowly stood up, and tried to be quiet, until I figured out what was going on. Well. that didn't work, because right as I was about to stand up, the worst pain of all hit me. I screamed in agony, waking Joshua. "Kyla! Oh my gosh! What's wrong?!" The words came tumbling out of his mouth. "Baby." Is all I could say. I hoped I was right.
